Silver ingots in various shapes and sizes were already being used some 4,000 years ago as Means of payment used. Silver bars must have a fine silver content of at least 995/1000.
The weight, the fine silver content in thousandths, the manufacturer’s mark, a serial number and the year of production are stated on all silver bars placed on the international market by certified manufacturers.
Well-known manufacturers include Argor, Degussa, Heraeus and the Cook Islands. Silver bars for private investors are available in the following sizes: 0.5g, 1g, 2.5g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 250g, 500g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 15 kg. We purchase all silver bars, whether certified or not.
Well-founded Silver bullion valuation
Of course, you can still be confident that our valuation of your silver bars corresponds to the current purchase price for bars. This is calculated based on the determined silver content – or, where applicable, the alloy – and the daily price quoted by Goldankauf Martin at the time you hand over your silver bars. This also involves a binding check of the fine weight, which the manufacturer has stamped directly onto the bar.
We will provide you with the relevant analysis whilst you are still in our shop in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Subject to your consent, you will then be paid your cash on the spot.
Sell silver bars and make a fresh start
You need not worry because your silver bars are no longer shrink-wrapped, as we also recycle them where necessary and remelt older bars to produce new 99.9%-purity fine silver bars and industrial products.
In such cases, you are, of course, still guaranteed the equivalent value of the current silver buying price. We welcome all manufacturers, countries of origin and mints.
Cast fine silver in the form of a bar is available in various denominations. One ounce is equivalent to 31.1 grams.
