Diamonds Purchase at fair prices. Following a detailed, professional valuation carried out in a discreet setting, we will make you a non-binding offer to purchase.

The word „diamond“ derives from the Greek words diaphainein, meaning „to shine through“, and adamantos, meaning ‘the indomitable’.
Diamonds have a Mohs hardness of 10, making them the hardest known mineral. Diamonds are formed in the Earth’s mantle under high pressure and at high temperatures.

Diamonds are mined in open-cast mines, and later, once the upper layers have been „cleared“, mining takes place underground. Other mining sites include, for example, underwater locations where diamonds are washed out of the sand using suitable dredging equipment.

Diamonds are mainly used in industry. If a diamond possesses certain characteristics, it is used in the luxury jewellery sector or traded as an investment diamond. We would be happy to provide you with a quote for your diamonds.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend

Diamonds are arguably the most beautiful jewellery of all, and Marilyn Monroe was surely not alone in this view. Whether in the form of a necklace, a ring or a bracelet, or even set into wristwatches – diamonds always make a statement!

But that’s exactly what some people have a bit of a problem with. With things like that jewels Some people quickly feel overwhelmed and overdressed.
There simply aren’t many occasions when you can wear a magnificent diamond necklace. Added to this is the frequent worry of losing such a precious piece or having it stolen. So the only option is to keep it safe in a jewellery box.

But is this sort of accommodation appropriate for the animals in the long term?

Diamond Purchasing: Professional valuation of diamond-set heirlooms

Modesty may well be a virtue, but when it comes to jewellery, it hasn’t always been practised. In the past, in particular, people liked to show off what they had, and there’s nothing necessarily wrong with that attitude. In some estates, it becomes clear exactly what is meant by this. Those who prefer understated jewellery cannot really see the appeal. In such cases, receiving the equivalent value in cash is the better option.
But what sort of amount can one expect?

Diamond Valuation
– what is important here

Goldankauf Martin carries out in-depth analyses prior to purchasing diamonds, which are easy for even non-experts to understand. The four Cs are crucial in this regard:

1. Carat
2. Clarity
3. Colour
4. Cut.

Based on these characteristics, we will carry out a proper valuation of your diamond.

Diamond grading by cut and carat weight
Carat Weight This translates as ‘carat’, as the unit of weight for diamonds is the carat. One carat is equivalent to 0.2 grams.
As usual, we do not round up the weight of the stones so that we can provide you with more accurate analyses. The higher the carat weight, the more valuable your diamond is.

Clarity refers to the clarity of a diamond, although there is no such thing as a flawless diamond. To determine clarity, there is a guideline we can follow:
If light passes through the diamond easily, it is considered to be quite pure.

Colour (Colour):
„These coloured stones are known as “fancy diamonds’, and their internal structure can still be flawless. Imperfections such as cracks, scratches or colour traces result in slight deductions in grade.

Cut (Cut):
We can determine brilliance and fire on the basis of the cut.
Reflection and refraction of light are responsible for both and provide all the relevant data.
Our diamond valuation is therefore based on a number of factors, which ensures that the diamond purchase process remains fair in principle.
